AMS specializes in the R&D, manufacture and construction of modular system. It is a joint venture in China, with the majority of the shares held by the Chinese party.
AMS was formed by introducing a mature modular technology from Britain to address the pressing needs of finely-decorated houses in Chinese property market. Using a world-leading innovative and dynamic approach, AMS Modular System embraces modern methods of construction, unique integrated erection technology and stringent quality control. The use of these modern and innovative methods of construction ensures comprehensive quality and durability of buildings, significant extension of building service life and major savings of energy, water resources and materials. It is a major producer of green buildings for the customers.

What we are doing?
AMS Modular Building System divides the functional spaces of a building into numerous volumetric space units that are suitable for transport. The modules are manufactured within a controlled assembly line environment complete with interior decoration, plumbing and electrical pipelines, sanitary wares and furniture. The modules are then transported to site for assembly and erection by cranes. AMS system has radically revolutionized the conventional construction method.

What have we done?
AMS designs and manufactures modules for a range of hotels, apartments, and social housing projects in Europe, including the 25-storey apartment which is the tallest modular building in the world, and the No.5 Olympic Way Project for 2012 Olympic Games. Both represent the milestones for modular construction technology in the world.

About us
AMS is now at initial stage with rapid development. The headquarters and subsidiary presently have a total of more than 400 employees and are still under way of talents recruitment. The corporate management system and mechanism are going through a continuous optimization and improvement. The factory now has a standard production line that consists of two workshops made of steel structure, which are capable of yielding 200,000 square meters of building area annually. All the equipment have undergone installation and test and have been put into trial production. In addition, another 50 mu for wall assembling factory is under construction.
AMS is currently concentrating on the building of its first demonstration project that utilizes modular system in China—Gangnan Road Social Housing Project, which has a total of 10 blocks with 18 stories for each, in all 1440 sets of social housing apartments, covering 130,000 square meters. The project has applied AMS modular building system for the very first time in China, representing a significant milestone for housing industrialization in China. Moreover, the successful application of AMS modular system will have a direct impact on the company reputation and future development.

We should consider whether the work we are doing now is meaningful. What we are embarking on now is not just to build a house, complete an assignment or to get paid for what we are doing. There is no doubt that housing industrialization will be the future for construction industry, however, as emerging industry, it will take time for people to accept the new idea. The advantages of modular building system lie in the fact that it is energy-saving, anti-seismic with high-end quality delivered.
The cost advantage of modular building system lies in the buildings that range from storey 6 to storey 25, which can replace the traditional building method. Therefore we have an extensive market share in China. In U.K, the industrialized buildings account for 20 percent of the construction market and are developing at a growth rate of 70 percent with each passing year. However, the market share of industrialized buildings in China only accounts for less than 1 percent. According to the United Nations estimation, the urbanization rate in developed countries will reach 86 percent by the year of 2050 while in China, urbanization rate will reach 72.9 percent by 2050. All these facts have indicated that our modular system will have a huge market share and it is growing rapidly year by year.
We will put more new projects into construction and plan to increase two production lines each year which will generate yearly output value of 1 billion yuan for each line. By introducing into China the state-of-the-art modular system in the world, we will grow into one of the most competitive integrated industrialized housing providers in China after three to five years of operation. Its experimental practice will serve as the basis for China to draw up its own national code of industrialized housing system. And we are planned to go public by IPO. AMS will not just engage in the construction field, the business growth will also simultaneously facilitate a rapid development of its supporting building material, logistics, trainings for industrial workers and financial services.
